John Taylor has over 25 years of experience in a wide range of Civil Engineering work including public and private sector design and construction projects. In his role as Director of Construction Administration, he is responsible for daily supervision of Construction Inspectors on municipal and private construction projects and for the design of public improvements projects.


Over the span of his career, John has been involved in civil, utility, and environmental projects including field investigations, concept planning, land surveying, civil/site/utility engineering, soil and groundwater investigation, analysis, and cleanup investigation, environmental permitting, construction administration, and construction inspection.  He routinely works with clients on the construction of projects to coordinate permit compliance, construction stakeout, shop drawings, utility connections, value engineering, and field revisions.


John has completed soils investigations, designed onsite wastewater management systems, and managed contamination cleanup.  He has represented municipal government’s interests at land use boards and municipal staff for plan review and field inspection and represented the interests of citizens to municipalities and county officials. In addition, John’s skill set includes the planning and supervision of the implementation of the Information Technology systems including servers, plotter/printers and computer workstations and the Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) efforts.


John spends his free time volunteering with youth, church and a local Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) academy high school.
