An award winning Professional Land Surveyor licensed in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Michael McGuire serves as the Director of Survey. With over 30 years of experience, Mike has developed vast experience in a multitude of surveying techniques and methods, both on land and water.


As the Director of Survey, Mike is responsible for organization, scheduling, supervising, and managing personnel resources and the equipment necessary to complete all surveying and mapping operations. His extensive experience has included, but is not limited to, boundary, title, topographic, GPS control, right-of-way and riparian surveys.


Mike has supervised survey work for large-scale residential and industrial developments, from acquisition of land to construction stake-out and preparation of final surveys for conveyance. His vast portfolio of  survey work has included both private and public clients, various ranges of parcel sizes and types, environmentally-sensitive projects, right-of-ways for various roadways & railroads throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the back bays of Ocean City, New Jersey. Mike has worked with numerous large A/E companies as a sub-consultant and is well versed in the communication and work effort necessary to excel and ensure successful completion of the projects.


Mike has also acted as Program Manager for ACT’s multiple teaming agreements on various DoD and other large facility projects, including Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), New Jersey. Mike was awarded with several excellent performance evaluations and awards, including the Fort Dix Directorate of Public Works Golden Castle Award in 2002, 2003 and 2006. ACT Engineers, Inc. also received commendation letters from JB MDL in 2011 and 2012, specifically citing Mike’s demonstrated ‘technical expertise’ in support of the command’s mission.


In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors, including hunting, boating and fishing.
