Trenton Waterfront Park

As part of Trenton’s waterfront redevelopment program along the Delaware River, ACT Engineers designed the Waterfront Plaza and Riverwalk.  This waterfront development project is an 8 acre linear park along the Delaware River adjacent to the minor league baseball park. ACT Engineers was responsible for extensive site planning and design, surveying, site engineering, obtaining numerous environmental permits and coordinating with the Army Corps of Engineers, as well as other agencies.  NJDEP Permits included Waterfront Development, Stream Encroachment (SE), & Freshwater Wetlands.  This project was coordinated with various other waterfront projects including Route 29 highway tunnel and deck park, waterfront docks, the reconstruction of an old fishing wharf and bike paths.
