Job Title:  Sr. Civil Engineer/Civil Engineering Manager

Job Description: ACT Engineers, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Sr. Civil Engineer.

P.E. required with 10+ years’ experience in site engineering, stormwater management, utilities, wastewater, land use and municipal representation. Working knowledge of Civil3D required. Coastal engineering experience a plus. Experience necessary in the preparation of construction bid documents, construction inspection, land use permitting, coastal permitting in the mid-Atlantic region.

Compensation:  $80,000 to $120,000 Commensurate with experience

Position Overview: Compensation consistent with experience and benefits based on full-time status. Benefits include medical, life insurance, long-term disability, and 401k.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project design, and management, of civil engineering projects, budgets, timelines, and staff.
  • Coastal Resiliency Design experience a plus.

Qualifications (Education and Experience):

  • Professional Engineering License (NJ minimum, PA and other states desired).
  • Must be organized, motivated, and reliable
  • Must be willing to work overtime on a limited basis to meet client needs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to obtain government clearance
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests
