Coastal and Waterfront Permitting
Project Description
ACT Engineers provides environmental consulting and permitting services for a wide range of ocean and waterfront properties throughout New Jersey. Services include Coastal Area Facility Review Act (CAFRA) permitting for projects ranging from single family homes to large scale residential subdivisions to commercial, public and industrial development. In-water work such as bulkheads, docks, boat lifts and dredging require approval from both the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. ACT has over 30 years of experience in permitting all aspects of in-water structures including bulkheads, residential docks and lifts, living shorelines and commercial marinas. ACT provides full service permitting and regulatory compliance for dredging projects. These services include preparing, collecting and analyzing sediment sampling and dredging permit applications. Our level of detail and client service is excellent regardless if the dredging proposes 100 cubic yards for a residential boat slip or hundreds of thousands of cubic yards for municipal-wide dredging programs.
ACT Engineers maintains an exemplary professional relationship with local, State and Federal regulators.
