Doubletree Inn Environmental Compliance

Project Description

ACT Engineers conducted Site Investigation activities at an active commercial property.  ACT conducted a limited subsurface investigation to determine if subsurface soils and/or groundwater have been impacted by the historical use of the subject property.  The project was conducted on an expedited timeframe to facilitate a property transaction.

Multiple soil borings and temporary monitoring well points were installed by ACT Engineers around the exterior of the property to screen the site for evidence of contaminated soils and groundwater.  Included in this task was project coordination, including application technical assistance, the collection and analysis of soil and groundwater samples, and report preparation.

ACT coordinated additional file review and verification sampling for site compliance activities and reporting to obtain a Remedial Action Outcome determination for the historic fill on the property utilizing the onsite facility improvements to minimize project costs.
