Ocean City Special Projects
Project Description
As general Environmental Consultant on retainer with the City of Ocean City, services provided included all aspects of Federal and State permitting for various special projects proposed by the City of Ocean City. Current and past projects include boardwalk beach pavilions; a rails to trails project; replacement and relocation of beach outfalls to facilitate stormwater management; design and installation of American with Disabilities Act public access improvements to the boardwalk and beach at numerous locations; artificial turf installation and hanger improvements at the municipal airport; Bayside Center improvements including new docks and boat ramp for public access; and, beach and dune maintenance.
Project Features
- Coordination and permitting with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and NJDEP for beach and dune management
- NJDEP and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Permitting, including CAFRA
- Coordination with project engineers regarding acceptable design
