Project Description

ACT Engineers partnered with the design engineers to conduct an environmental inventory of the sites in preparation of the required local and State permitting for each of these franchise developments. Permit applications included a Coastal Area Facility Review Act (CAFRA) with emphasis on contiguous, commonly owned properties and compliance with the site coverage requirements. Pertinent coastal zone management rules also addressed in the permit documents included traffic impacts; vegetative species composition and preservation; archaeological and historic resources; and, threatened and endangered species’ habitats.
